It was then he discovered the polyurethane squeegee was great for removing wax from boards. Working between the surfing meccas of France and California, Biarritz-born Pandora Decoster's life has always been steeped in surf culture and art. Discovered at 16 by Roxy, she pursued a seven-year career as a professional surfer while developing her practice as a multidisciplinary artist. Her grandfather was a pioneer in surf heritage preservation and her mother, a painter. Drawing from her upbringing, years spent traveling and surfing, and deep connection to the ocean, her work conveys the contemplative serenity of the seaside, paying homage to her unique journey between waves and the arts.
