After years of surf trips near and far, I realized that certain surf essentials are always needed. They are the ones that make a session better, from a quick local paddle-out to a flight across the ocean. Along the way, I discovered emerging creators that deserve to be celebrated, shared and experienced.
I have spent more than a decade leading creative marketing at brands like J.Crew and Faherty,
where I refined my instinct for curation and storytelling. Now I’m channeling my creative lens into something more personal.
Nami, meaning “wave” in Japanese, reflects my heritage as a third-generation Japanese American.
The Nami Box is just the beginning, part of a larger vision called Nami Collective, a hub that connects surfers, makers, and storytellers who share a love for the ocean and thoughtful design.
